Prominent US news channel broadcasts live interview with Dr. Mezyad during IASP conference.:

Dr. Mezyad Alterkawi, CEO of RTIC and Mr. Gary Shope, Executive Advisor for RTV were interviewed live by the WRAL TV news channel, one of the prominent news networks in Raleigh, NC, USA. Both Dr. Mezyad and Mr. Shope were representing RTV at the International Association for Science Parks (IASP) annual conference held at Research Triangle Park.

Dr. Mezyad reiterated how the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working towards achieving King Abdullah’s vision to shift towards a knowledge based economy. He mentioned that the changes Research Triangle Park has made in the last 50 years in bringing significant economic prosperity to North Carolina should be an inspiration for RTV. He also pointed out that the new generation of Saudi Arabia should look towards knowledge and not oil as a sustainable way to ensure their future well being.
